Many tourists recognize that museums are an important part of the cultural heritage of a place. Even if they are not specifically interested in the museum’s subject, they may intend to learn about the history, art, or culture of the region they are visiting. Tourists may visit these museums simply because of their reputation and to be able to say they have seen them.
Moreover, museums are a perfect place to blend in and engage in street photography, pretending to be a tourist yourself. Everyone is taking photos, so you don’t stand out.
This project is still in progress because as long as I continue visiting museums, it will not be finished.
